I have been fairly regularly attending Yoga Classes. The benefits of doing both Yoga and Awareness Through Movement are becoming clearer, as are the connections. These are my personal experiences: specific strengthening and lengthening of muscle groups. improved awareness (where have I heard that word?) of alignment, especially the curves of the spine and the limits of some of those curves. changes in metabolism, weight control, energy. If you haven’t tried yoga, think of fitting it into your busy schedule.
If you haven’t heard: Awareness Through Movement is happening 3 times a week now! 930 -1030 Monday, Wednesday and Friday! No excuses!! Tina Mahacek is teaching the Wednesday morning class! I am teaching Monday and Friday.
